Here we go.....

This is my first post and first time blogging ever!  I think my title describes how I am feeling at this moment.  I have been putting this off for a couple of weeks now and I finally just said to myself, well, here we go!  I'll just start by telling you a little bit about me.

I grew up in a small town in West Texas.  I love my family, fashion, food, music, and being artistic.  I love everything about Texas including my favorite country singer George Strait.  He is an amazing singer and performer.  All he needs is his voice and guitar.  When I was younger, he would tour and stop in my hometown every year.  My parents always made sure that we were there.  I even gave him a large chocolate shaped cowboy boot with a note every year.  The last time he came to my small town I even got to sit on the front row and even got a hand shake!  I was 11 and in absolute heaven.

So several years down the road I graduated from Texas Tech University and high tailed it to the big city of Dallas.  I began teaching and met my husband, Scott.    This is our very first picture together after we started dating.  We look so young!  And I don't know what Scott has got going on with his hair, but I love him anyway.

After two years of dating we got married, bought a house and began our life together.  Scott is an amazing man who loves music, food, golf, family, football, and most importantly George Strait.  After being married for a year and a half we found out we were expecting with our first baby boy.  He was born in September and our life hasn't been the same since.  I am now a stay at home momma to our sweet boy.  He is so happy and full of life.  He is truly our little blessing.  Here is my favorite newborn pic of him.

He is now almost 7 months old and the time is just flying by.  He amazes me everyday and I can't wait to see what he will be up to in the future.
